The Humane Society

With support from celebrities, animal experts, and various organizations, the Humane Society is trying to build a better future for all animals. Global efforts include an animal rescue team, a disaster preparedness unit, various sanctuaries and animal care centers, as well wildlife services and a street dog welfare unit. The Humane Society has successfully fought against the puppy mills that help cause pet overpopulation as well as ending Canada’s seal hunt and fur trade. Together, with the help of thousands nation-wide, they protect the welfare of all animals, land or sea, and provide care and services to more than 100,000 animals each year. Native has an animal-friendly office and we are big advocates of rescuing. We even have a foster or two in here from time to time.
