Wounded Warrior Project

The Wounded Warrior Project is a resource for army veterans and family members of veterans to help them settle back into living at home. The organization also provides mental health counseling for veterans suffering from PTSD and families who may have lost a loved one during war. Outreach programs to alumni and families are also in place to create a strong community of veterans and families that work together to overcome their own personal obstacles, whether it be physical or mental. The Wounded Warrior Project sends backpacks to servicemen in hospitals to make their stay more comfortable. The founders of Wounded Warrior Project are fellow veterans, so they know  what their comrades are going through and make it their goal to help in any way they can.
