Moodles, created by artist and designer Ari Weinkle, is a short animation “based on the effects of negative emotions on one’s self.”

The aim, according to Weinkle’s Vimeo blurb, is to turn “built up tension, stress, and anxiety into creative catharsis.”

Still figures, initially frozen in a particular mood, break down, pull apart and practically melt into “heaps of flexible nothingness.”  The result is visually very satisfactory and does elicit a feeling of catharsis.
