With Cannes Lions 2016 just around the corner, we’ve decided to take a look back into last year’s winners and top contenders.

Cannes Lions (formerly the International Advertising Festival) came to fruition in September of 1954 as an influence of the Cannes Film Festival when a group of cinema screen advertising contractors decided that those who make advertisements should be equally recognized. From an ALS awareness campaign to a boy and penguin best friend duo, here’s a few of the films (plus a campaign!) we thought were worthy of another round of appreciation.
