Blood Pulls A Gun To Play At Palm Springs International Short Film Festival
Ben Briand’s excellent short film Blood Pulls A Gun is playing as a part of ‘On Top Down Under’ and ‘Rebel Rebel’ programs at this year’s Palm Springs International ShortFest!
Now in its 21st year, the annual Palm Springs International Short Film Festival is one of only a handful of Oscar®-qualifying short film festivals in the U.S. and our man Ben Briand will this year have his coming of age thriller included in a spectacular selection of new shorts set to be screened.
Blood Pulls A Gun is a tense tale that has previously earned Briand a Best Cinematography award alongside an esteemed Best Emerging Film Maker at Melbourne International Film Festival.
Set in a near derelict motel in a remote wilderness, the film is inhabited by a cast of mysterious characters who converge to create a fascinating narrative. A teenage girl gets a keyhole look into a dangerous and mysterious world when a tattooed stranger checks into her roadside motel.
Palm Springs International ShortFest takes place June 16 – 22, 2015. See you there!
