Farewell to Bergamot Station

The Santa Monica Museum of Art

The Santa Monica Museum of Art is relocating—in part, because the rent is too damn high!—and they’re set to hold their final Incognito benefit at Bergamot Station this Saturday night.

For its eleventh year, they’ll be including works from John Baldessari, Barbara Kruger, Mark Bradford and Ed Ruscha amongst an astonishing array of 700 artworks donated by local, national and international artists, both emerging to acclaimed.

It’s a rare celebration of access, diversity and discovery in contemporary art, and all proceeds go towards the Museum’s free exhibitions and programming.

Fear not, as the legendary benefit art sale will live on in a new location, but be assured that Saturday’s going to be a huge send off, toasting SMMoA’s last Incognito event at its Bergamot spot.
